He only had a 58 point lead over Dennis Setzer going into the race. The race was rain delayed last night and restarted at 8:30 this morning. Two wrecks happened down the stretch of the race...one right in front of Ted.

It was funny. His spotter lost it when the tires on Renshaw's Dodge started smoking and he couldn't see Ted through the smoke.

"Go high! No, go low! No, go high!"

And...Ted ignored him and sailed by and on to win the championship.
