Stats, facts and observations from Bob Margolis via Yahoo's At The Track
Rumors are floating this morning that Jimmie Johnson may have his Daytona 500 victory, but his crew chief is likely going to be suspended for three races and the #48 is going to be fined points. So, yes, they got the victory, but those all important points toward the Chase are in jeopardy.
Stewart's tough day...Road Rage at Daytona...Outspoken Ryan Newman...Figures and Facts
After talking up safety and being careful all week, what could Tony Stewart have been thinking when he ran Matt Kennseth down the track. NASCAR's hands were tied at that point they had to penalize him and when Kennseth retaliated...again...what were they supposed to do, except what they did.

The part of Margolis's excellent observations that caught my eye...Kenny Schrader in the Wood Brothers #21 went from 33rd to 9th in 20 laps...NBC totally missed that aspect of the race. See my previous commentary on how I feel about NBC's coverage.
