Tony Stewart's Anger Management and Failure to Practice What He Preaches

Both drivers were fighting mad after the race, but Bowyer couldn't get close enough to Stewart to do anything and -- much to the dismay of garage insiders -- Edwards thought better of it.
``If it weren't for the respect of the sport and the people watching and his team, he'd be out there bleeding right now,'' fumed Edwards, who was also penalized one lap for his retaliatory spin of Stewart.
If there's one thing that's certain, it's that the portly Stewart doesn't want any part of Edwards and the six-pack abs that landed him on the cover of several magazines.

Loyalty and Patience Aren't Big Words in Modern NASCAR Free Agency

The stupidest question a journalist can ask a struggling driver, crew chief or team owner is "What's wrong?" Well, hell, if the team knew what was wrong, wouldn't it fix the problem? --Lee Spencer
I agree. This question is right up there with sticking the microphone in a driver's face(Ryan Newman), just after he leaves the infield care center after a horrible wreck when he was right in the thick of things and asking him, "How do you feel?"
Ryan's response, "How do you think I feel?"
Reporter Jeanie Zelasko started doing Fox News Breaks and Baseball almost immediately afterward.

Looking ahead to Just Us Cup 2007.

Next year with more Cup teams coming onboard with Toyota and more quality teams in the field, I think we'll need to institute a harsher penalty for Did Not Qualify.

Failure to Start a race due to Not Qualifying will be a -10 point deduction. That would put whoever this was at least -5 behind whoever the lowest point getter that week would be and this driver would not get any Finish points.
