The third of four boats used as the S.S. Minnow during the Gilligan's Island run on television is up for sale.
She has actually been run aground in her history as well...only in Alaska not in the South Pacific.
She's a 36-foot mahogany Wheeler Express Cruiser...and she's 46 years old.
But she is a classic and intimately tied to one of the best television series of all time. Check her out.
This real-life Minnow also ran aground.
The Cruiser hit a reef in Hecate Strait, while the former owner had her on a excursion down the Alaskan coast. The former owner sold the 46-year-old boat for salvage on condition that it be restored.

I'm guessing that buying this boat and actually taking it somewhere is probably a dumb idea...I mean...karma has to count for something...right?
