Classic Television...
There is a new service coming soon to a internet connected computer near you.
Warner Brothers is about to start offering reruns of classic television shows which don't normally make the rerun circuit.
There will be commercials, but instead of the standard 8 minutes of commercials per 30 minute program, there will only be 2 minutes. These 2 minutes of commercials will keep the service free.
This gives the WB a chance to turn a continuing profit on those shows that don't make it onto TVLand or the rerun circuit of your non-network affiliated local channel, which more and more turns its off peak hours over to infomercials rather than old school reruns.
There could be some fun things show up here.
Personally, I hope to find Barney Miller on something like this.
