Paris is burning...



6 nights in a row, unrest has swept some of Paris' poorest suburbs.

The trigger for all this...Two French teenagers were killed while running from the police. They were apparently electrocuted.

And of course, The Powers That Be in France are playing politics ahead of their Prime Ministerial elections in 2007 with Villepin, current Prime Minister, on one side and Sarkozy, current Interior Minister, on the other.

The "No-go" areas concept has been bandied about. "No-go" areas in peacetime France...what the hell? I can understand that in Iraq, but France...
