Prayers for the Assassin by Robert Ferrigno

Great book. I'll be reading more stuff by Ferrigno. He brings a fully imagined world to life in Prayers for the Assassin.

Favorite scenes:

The Super Bowl scene with the Bedouins vs. the Warlords in Khomeini Stadium.

Great scene setter for the novel, a real "we're not in Kansas anymore" moment.

The jumbo jet's tail section jutting out of Puget Sound, a national monument to the Islamic States of America.

A great framing element.

How Rakkim dealt with the silver sedan tailing him.

Great scene.

The scene at Marian Warriq's home after Darwin's visit.

High ick factor and jarring.

The life and death struggle in the Finding Nemo ride at Disneyland.
The Old One's attempt to woo Rakkim with the Las Vegas skyline at their feet.

All in all, a great book that I would highly recommend.

Thanks for stopping by Mr. Ferrigno.

Wow!

Hope to see more stories set in the life of Rakkim or in the pseudo-future of the Islamic States of America!
