NASCAR has announced that TV ratings are down for all but two races so far this year...

Well, duh! Hide the races away on cable television when the core market would be more likely to see the races on broadcast and you begin to learn a lesson about availability and popularity.

It's a lesson that the NFL is about to learn as well as they begin to hide games away from their audience in cable television ghettos.

Maximum exposure to the maximum number of viewers is the proper course of action.
