Title: "Into the Breech" JLA/Avengers Team-Up: Part: One
Wouldn't the authorities raise hell and shut down a space shuttle launch by a private individual or corporation in downtown New York, even when the prime mover behind the op is a powerful and rich personage like Dr. Midas. Even in a world of superheroes, this seems over the top. Still its a damned cool scene.
Richards' reaction to Midas' hand gesture. Greatness. HA! Definitely not something that Dr. Doom would have done to him. Though Namor might have.
The whole launch and its immediate aftermath was a very well done series of scenes.
Kyle Rayner saving the day, even when he's been whipped in the crash. Excellent.
Wow! Plastic Man here. Plastic Man there. Wow! Gross! His reforming makes a good sister image to the Absorbing Man image from the earlier issue in the crossover.
Hate that Batman is a jackass to Kyle in a time of crisis...oh wait, heh, this is consistent with the Batman we have seen since about 1980. He is a jackass to almost everybody. If Wally wouldn't have been so out of it from the crash of the Cosmic Treadmill, it would have been nice to see him stand up to Batman for his friend.
Too bad Ronnie couldn't transform a Qwardian Firestorm would have been an interesting thing to have the League run into/go up against.
Hmmm...I think I know who just formed on the Scarlet Centurion's Dimensional Escalator...HA! I love that. Greatness.
I give it 7.5 out of 10 cigars.

The lamp is extinguished...Steady as she goes.
