Happy Birthday Fidel...When's the Retirement Party

Fidel Castro turned 79 today.

He has no plans to retire.

That's because over the last half century plus, he's killed anyone who would be a viable successor. The ones left have no loyalty to him. He'd be strung up within a month of releasing the reins of power.

Either that or his retirement would be the trigger for a revolution.

Either way Castro is in jail or hanging from a gallows pole.

So, if you were an aging Latin American dictator who still held tightly to the reins of power and these were your options...would you let go?
