Sad! Sad! Sad!

Back in the early to mid-80's, the Canadian rock band Loverboy was golden. They got tons of radio play and were in heavy rotation on MTV.

Last weekend, while browsing through a discount classifieds sales paper, I discovered the following...

MEMORABILIA GOLD LP RECORD...awarded to Loverboy, Columbia Records #JC36762, 1980 CBS Records presented to Andy Lockridge, commemorating the sale of more than 1,000,000 copies of the Loverboy album.

Followed by a phone number and the price...

$100 firm.
