Super Bowl Censored the Roll[bleep] St[bleep]nes

Yes, it's true. Apparently at two points during the performance Mick's microphone was lowered when he came to the offending phrases and words.

The words and phrases...

In Start Me Up when he sings..."make a dead man come." The microphone powered down.

And in Rough Justice where they refer to a "cock". The volume descended and rose again.

Apparently in (Can't Get No) Satisfaction, the line "I can't get no girlie action" was deemed suitable by the morals police in the NFL office.

Thank you, Janice Jackson and Justin Timberlake.

It sucks that this went on. But a bigger question is...if the Stones wouldn't have said something about it afterwards, would we have noticed?

But...show of hands, how many of you noticed that the Stones were being censored at the time?

That's what I thought.
