NASCAR: Intrepid vs. Charger
Penske South brought two Dodge Intrepids to the California race this week instead of the factory supported Dodge Charger. Due to a loophole in NEXTEL Cup rules the '04 and '05 model Intrepids are still approved for Cup races...much to Dodge's chagrin.
Penske and a few other teams have stated that the Intrepids have better balance on the track than the current Charger, whether this will lead to changes in Dodge's racing program or not remains to be seen.
And...surprise, surprise, surprise, Kurt Busch put his #2 Miller Lite Dodge Intrepid on the pole for the race later today.

SIDEBAR: Just Us Cup-date...Nancy Cline's #2 Miller Lite Dodge is on the pole...that's a bonus 5 Just Us Cup points.
